Terms of Service

Welcome to WITB

These Terms of Service govern your use of WITB, operated by Jason Yeh. WITB helps you organize golf equipment, share bags, discover golfers and brands, and explore shopping links. By creating an account or using WITB, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The private test is for people aged 18 or older. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Your account

Use accurate account information and only create an account you are authorized to use. You may sign in with email and password or, when available, Google. Keep your credentials secure, and tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

Usernames are subject to availability. Do not impersonate another person or brand, mislead others about an affiliation, or reserve usernames for resale. We may change or reclaim a username to address impersonation, infringement, misuse, or a technical or legal requirement.

Your bags and content

You retain ownership of the content you create. You give WITB a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce, format, and display that content as needed to operate the service and carry out your sharing choices. This permission does not transfer ownership or allow us to sell your private content.

You are responsible for having the rights to the content you add. Do not upload someone else’s private information without permission. Your main bag and basic claimed profile are visible through your profile link; optional visibility settings control additional details.

When you remove content, our permission ends except as needed to process removal, retain permitted backups or legal records, and maintain copies already shared with others. Other people may retain images or information you made available to them.

Use the community responsibly

Do not use WITB for fraud, harassment, threats, unlawful discrimination, spam, or illegal activity. Do not post counterfeit or stolen goods, infringe intellectual property, or misrepresent an item’s condition, ownership, or authenticity.

Do not attempt to access another account, bypass security or access restrictions, overload the service, or collect other users’ personal information without permission. Do not manipulate follows, referrals, listings, or rewards through fake accounts or automated abuse.

We may remove content or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, or comply with law. You can contact us to ask for a review of a moderation decision.

Equipment, golfer information, and golf records

Catalog details, product images, reported professional setups, popularity lists, and videos are provided for information and inspiration. Equipment specifications and availability can change. Verify the model, loft, shaft, fit, price, and condition with the manufacturer or seller before buying.

A golfer or brand appearing on WITB does not imply endorsement or account ownership. Reported setups are dated snapshots. Estimated handicaps and demonstration values are not official Handicap Index records. WITB is not currently connected to GHIN and is not an official handicap service.

Pro Shop, listings, and affiliate links

The current test provides equipment discovery, outbound shopping links, and listing previews. WITB does not process payments, hold funds, ship products, or provide buyer protection. A preview listing is not confirmation that an item has been published to an external marketplace.

When you buy or sell through another site, the transaction is between you and the applicable seller, buyer, or retailer under that site’s terms. Check its return policy, fees, shipping terms, and protections. WITB is not responsible for those parties’ products or conduct.

Some outbound links may become affiliate links, meaning WITB could earn a commission on qualifying purchases. We will identify affiliate relationships where they apply. A link or a commission does not guarantee an item’s quality, suitability, availability, or price.

Test points, rewards, and referrals

Points and referral rewards in the private test are virtual, promotional features. They are not money, deposits, cryptocurrency, or an investment. They cannot be cashed out, sold, transferred, or redeemed for goods unless WITB separately offers a specific reward with its own rules.

Test balances and eligibility rules may change or be reset as we develop the app. We may correct errors and remove rewards earned through abuse or duplicate activity. Do not spam people with referral links, and disclose any incentive when recommending the app.

A service still in testing

The current private test is free. Features may be incomplete, unavailable, or changed, and preview data may be lost or reset. Keep your own copy of information that matters to you. We will tell you before introducing any paid service; these terms do not authorize us to charge you.

To the extent permitted by law, WITB is provided as available without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. We do not guarantee third-party information, product performance, or an improvement in your golf game.

Responsibility and your legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, WITB and its operator are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or business opportunities, arising from use of the service. We do not exclude responsibility that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable rights relating to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or personal injury.

Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights or remedies available where you live. These terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to bring a claim in a court that has jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Leaving WITB and resolving concerns

You can stop using WITB at any time. During the private test, email jason.oliver@gmail.com to request account deletion. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations, security risks, or legal requirements, and will give notice where appropriate and practicable.

Please send support requests, concerns about content or intellectual property, and questions about these terms to Jason Yeh at jason.oliver@gmail.com. Include enough information for us to understand the issue, but do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

We may update these terms as the service develops. We will post the revised date and give appropriate notice of material changes. Where required, we will ask you to accept the revised terms before continuing. Provisions that reasonably need to continue after account closure, including legal rights and permitted retention, will continue.
